But first, a note about the conventions: we’ll personally be attending both Anime Expo and the San Diego Comic Convention, and as usual are happy to offer free delivery to your booth of any PCR products. Get your orders in to Charlie and we’ll be happy to drop them by your booth. But hurry, before we’re swamped with orders.
New T-Shirts!
We have even more awesome anime and kanji-themed T-shirts for your customers to enjoy, just in time for the upcoming anime shows and beyond. The new shirts include a tribute to Touhou Project, a doujin-made shooting game from Japan that somehow managed to become the core of anime pop culture, for some reason; a fun tribute to Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei; a “Beware of Electric Shock” shirt for fans of the anime A Certain Magical Index; and a girl’s shirt featuring Toeto (toh-eh-toh), which is a fan-created cute version of a popular Vocaloid character who wears a little hat with cat ears.
These great new shirts join the popular recently released shirt designs, like our “Tsundere” kanji tribute to anime’s most violent female characters; the super-awesome t-shirt for fans of Yandere (yahn-deh-reh), an anime term describing a female character who is loving and gentle, then turns extremely violent and jealous to the point of murder; the OBEY Code Geass parody T-shirt; the super Tenori Tigers Toradora! shirt; our Beatles-style tribute to K-On! New Game News
For customers who carry our PC dating-sim games from Japan, we’ve got two new titles dropping nearly at the same time, just in time for Anime Expo.
First is Lightning Warrior Raidy II: Temple of Desire, a superb dungeon-crawling RPG game in which the player assumes the role of female warrior Raidy, doing battle with various minions as she seeks out adventure. Considering the extreme popularity of the first title and the number of customers who have preordered it through our websites, we know this will be an outstanding game.
We’ve also finalized work on Moero Downhill Night 2, the exciting sequel to the first game about fast cars, beautiful anime girls and high-stakes mountain racing in Japan. The second game is 4x the length of the first, with superb pre-rendered racing scenes and outstanding “H” action at every turn, making it a great game for the Initial “D” generation. This game will be released, so you can preorder it now! Also see the Moero Downhill Night 2 page.
(The third big title is one of the best games ever to be released in English: Deus Machina Demonbane, by the legendary game company NItroPlus. A complete Cthulhu Mythos game done in Lovecraftian style, it’s an outstanding title that no fan will want to miss. Look for more info on when these will be available for preorder very soon. We’re trying to get it out in time for San Diego Comicon.)
PDF Product Catalog Improvements
Remember, we’ve added faxable order forms to the convenient PDF-format product catalogs for all the products we sell. Now at the end of each file (for T-shirts, for games, etc.) you’ll find a separate order forms that you can use when making your next order from us. Of course you can also make orders through the website normally, or send us Purchase Orders — a lot of customers send us orders through email or AIM/Skype chat, we’re flexible! Feedback on the new PDF catalogs is welcome.
